In the context of the electrification of vehicles, the focus in the automotive industry is shifting more and more towards the topics of sustainability, emissions and economic efficiency. From 14 to 24 October, FTE automotive will be represented at the Frankfurt International Motor Show 2017 (hall 4.0, booth C20), and there the company will show how its innovative products can positively contribute to this process. As highlights of its trade-fair appearance, FTE automotive will present intelligent product solutions such as active and passive actuators for transmissions and applications for hybrid and electric vehicles:

The FTE automotive gear shift module featuring integrated position and speed sen-sors is made from high performance plastics and meets the highest demands on dy-namics, precision and reliability. The module largely contributes to the reduction of emissions and costs and, due to its compactness, offers the manufacturers additional constructional freedoms.

Electric Transmission Oil Pumps

In numerous vehicles with conventional transmissions and electric drives, our series of electric pumps is used for the reduction of emissions as well as for lubrication and cooling. Due to their modular design and their use of high-strength lightweight plastics, these pumps are very compact and offer customized solutions that are tailored to the clients’ needs.

Electrohydraulic and Electromechanical Actuators

Based on our modular toolkit system of electric transmission oil pumps and integrated valves for controlled oil distribution, our actuators are characterized by compact design and economic efficiency. The actuators can be used to operate clutches in conventional transmissions, for hybrid applications and for differentials. The use of high-strength plastics, even in mechanically heavily stressed segments, allows for solutions that are weight and cost optimized and thus contributes to sustainability and cost effectiveness while providing maximum functionality.
