The braking performance of a vehicle can vary depending on its load condition. This is why load-dependent brake force regulators are fitted to vehicles in order to achieve the best possible distribution of the braking force to the front and rear wheels. Vehicles with diagonal braking force distribution are fitted either with two simple regulators or with a so-called twin regulator. These have two separate, independent control units in one casing. If a brake force regulator fails, it must be replaced immediately.
FTE automotive offers a wide range of different brake force regulators for cars and commercial vehicles.
